Longbow provides graphic design in Matlock, Derbyshire and throughout the UK. Our skills are built on many years’ experience in the design and print industries. So in addition to creative skills we have excellent knowledge of the technical skills which play a big part in the design process. We are experienced, licensed users of the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite — the industry standard for all aspects of graphic design.

Before we even start up the computers, we do the most important thing of all: we listen to you, and talk to you. Whatever your requirement might be, we start by making sure we understand your business and its products or services.
Printing and production
Our service does not end with the design. We can also source print and production services to suit the requirements of your project and budget. Whether it is printing flyers or making popup display stands, we will carefully select a trusted supplier to work with. If you have your own supplier, we are of course happy to work with them and supply files made to their requirements.
Technicalities
It’s all about the detail
Coming up with a great idea is just the start of the design process. We believe that design work is as much about attention to detail as it is about creativity. For example, a logo may look good, but how does it look when printed on a pen, or is several metres wide on the side of a lorry?
There are also myriad technical details which need to be checked to ensure that when a job is printed it looks just as intended. Image resolution, colour management, fonts, bleed, trapping, colour, transparency and more.
