When people get calls on their mobiles in films and on telly programmes, why don’t they ring any more? They just do a sort of buzzing vibrating thing. Useful if it’s in your pocket but not much use otherwise. Remember Jack Bauer in 24? He had a nice ringtone. In my experience, out here in the real world, people have their phone set to emit some kind of noise rather than a vague buzz.
